Nishi-F Co., Ltd. Privacy Policy
Nishi-F Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) hereby sets forth a privacy policy governing the handling of information that contains personal information related to the users of services provided by the Company (hereinafter referred to as “User” or “Users”) (hereinafter referred to as “User Information”) as follows (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”).
The Policy, together with the privacy policy, terms of use, and other relevant regulations set forth for each service provided by the Company, applies to all services provided by the Company (hereinafter referred to as “Services”).
1. Information that is obtained and the methods by which such information is obtained
User Information obtained by the Company shall be as follows according to the method by which it is obtained:
(1) Information that is directly obtained from Users
The Company shall obtain the following information from Users when Services are to be used:
・Name
・Date of birth
・Sex
・Email address
・Address
・Service usage history
・Other information that is to be obtained as set forth by the Company in the application or website
(2) Obtaining technical information
When Services are accessed by a User, the Company shall obtain the following technical information:
・Terminal type
・Terminal identifier
・Browser type
・Referrer
・IP address
・Cookie
・Other advertising identifiers
・Traffic data
(3) Information that is obtained as consented to individually by Users
The Company shall obtain the following information where individual consent has been obtained from a User:
・Location information
・Phonebook
(4) Information that is obtained through collaborations with external services
Where linkage with an external service is permitted by a User in connection with the use of Services, the Company shall obtain the following information from such external service:
・ID used by the User with the external service
・Any other information that the User has allowed to be disclosed to the linked service according to the applicable privacy settings of the external service
2. Purpose of use
The Company shall use obtained User Information for any of the purposes set forth below:
・Provide a product or service
・Bill usage fees
・Verify identity and authenticate the User
・Measure User traffic and behavior
・Deliver advertisements and confirm the results thereof
・Issue a notification of changes to the Terms of Service governing Services or other material matters
・Provide information on or respond to an inquiry concerning Services
・Any other purpose as set forth for a service provided by the Company
3. Provision of personal information to third parties
The Company shall refrain from providing User Information constituting personal information to a third party without obtaining the prior consent of the User. Provided, however, that, where any of the following cases applies, this provision shall not apply, such that User Information may be provided to a third party:
(1) In linking with an external service or authenticating with the use of an external service, User Information is provided to the operator of such external service.
(2) The cooperation of the Company is needed for the execution of affairs as set forth by law by a national agency, local government, or party entrusted thereby and there is a risk that the act of obtaining the consent of the User would impede the execution of such affairs.
(3) Any other case as permitted by law.
4. Joint usage of personal information
The Company shall jointly use User Information constituting personal information as follows:

・Email address
・Service usage history
Scope of joint users
Nishi-F Group companies
Purpose of use by joint users
Provide information on services offered by Group companies
Party responsible for the management of personal information

5. Disclosing personal information
Where a request to disclose personal information is made by a User in accordance with the provisions of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the Company shall, upon verifying that the request was personally made by the User, disclose such information to the User without delay. Provided, however, that this provision shall not apply where the Company is not obligated to disclose by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or any other relevant law.
6. Correcting and suspending the use of personal information
(1) Where the contents of personal information are not true and the User therefore asks the Company to correct, add to, or delete such personal information (hereinafter referred to as “correct etc.”), the Company shall, upon verifying that the request was personally made by the User, conduct a survey, correct etc., the contents of personal information based on the result of the survey, and inform the User of the fact thereof without delay.
(2) Where a User asks the Company to suspend the use of or delete personal information for a reason as provided for in either of the following items (hereinafter referred to as “suspend the use of etc.”), the Company shall, upon verifying that the request was personally made by the User, conduct a survey, suspend the use of etc., personal information based on the result of the survey, and inform the User of the fact thereof without delay:
(i) Reason that explains why personal information is being handled in a manner that goes beyond the scope of the purpose of use as publicly disclosed in advance
(ii) Reason that explains why personal information has been obtained by deception or other such means
(3) Where the Company is not obligated to correct etc. or suspend the use of etc. personal information pursuant to the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other relevant law, the provisions of paragraphs (1) and (2) of this article shall not apply.
7. Access analysis tools
The Company uses Google Analytics, an access analysis tool provided by Google.
Google Analytics collects customer traffic data through the use of cookies. By disabling cookies in your browser settings, you can refuse the collection of such traffic data. Traffic data cannot be used to identify individual customers.

9. Revising this Privacy Policy
The Company shall revise the Policy at its discretion. Provided, however, that the Policy shall be revised according to the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other relevant law where procedures that need to be followed to revise the Policy have been set forth therein. Where the Policy is revised, the Company shall notify Users of the effective date and contents of the revised Policy by way of the following methods:
・Post on the Company’s website
・Send a notification to Users
・Carry out any other suitable method
