Government ships (vessels for research, training, patrols, ferrying, and multipurpose uses)
Our shipbuilding technology can be harnessed even in projects for which the highest standards of performance and safety need to be met.
About government ships
Ships used for the performance of official duties, such as patrol and research vessels, require the satisfaction of exceedingly high performance and safety standards. Our advanced shipbuilding technology accounts for the excellence of these ships in terms of their durability and maneuverability and enables stable operations at sea even under harsh conditions.
Shipbuilding technology
Advantages of FRP-based shipbuilding
- 1Can build a one-of-a-kind ship that perfectly satisfies the client’s requirements
- 2Allows for proven high-performance ships with linear-flow (energy-saving) hull forms
- 3Optimal cost performance of ships is achieved through the pursuit of operational and navigational efficiency
The history of our shipbuilding technology goes back further than it does for anyone else in Japan. With our experience, we engage in everything from the creation of blueprints and wooden molds to the process of manual layered molding and the creation of the heart of a vessel by hand every step of the way. We hold a series of careful design meetings in order to understand what the client wants before laying the keel. Combining an advanced technological routine that includes resistance propulsion performance tests and wave resistance tests conducted in water tanks with the traditional process of making a vessel by hand yields an approach that is a step ahead of the times.

Maintenance
Ship service / maintenance
We are always ready to engage in emergency work required in the unlikely event of a maritime accident.
Feel free to inquire about not just the hull itself but also any incidental work you may need for engines, electrical systems, hydraulic equipment, and other components.

We have built a wide variety of vessels to meet expectations of all sorts for our clients over the last half century. With a track record and knowledge cultivated in the area of shipbuilding over the decades, we are constantly working on new projects and seeking to meet the needs of clients with ideas and wisdom. Backed by our experience and development capabilities, we are committed to building a one-of-a-kind ship just for you.
